Hi! I’m Beth Lucas — designer, maker, and founder of Beth Lucas Design.

I’ve spent over 20 years in the NYC fashion industry as a technical designer and production manager, working with talented teams across luxury and mass-market brands. I loved the process of bringing designs to life, but my true passion has always been creating with my hands.

That passion started when I was 8 years old, learning to crochet with my grandmother. Since then, I’ve taught myself to knit, embroider, sew, and draft patterns — eventually earning my Fashion Design degree in Eveningwear from the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Today, I combine my love of fashion and craftsmanship through sewing, patternmaking, and technical design. Whether I’m designing bespoke garments or exploring new creative projects, I’m always learning — and I hope to inspire you to do the same.
