Whether you’re launching a new brand or running an established fashion house, every garment you produce—domestically or overseas—needs a detailed tech pack. A tech pack communicates all the essential information: measurements, flat sketches, fabric and trim details, as well as updates and notes from fittings. It is the foundation of your product development process, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and the perfect fit for your designs.
Fit Development
The fit of a garment is one of the most important factors in its success—both in how it looks and how it sells. A great fit leads to a satisfied customer and a strong brand reputation. During fit development, I manage fittings and review garment samples on a professional fit model or dress form. Collaborating closely with designers and patternmakers, I evaluate both design details and the overall silhouette, incorporating feedback from the fit model to refine accuracy. Every adjustment is made with precision and care to achieve the perfect fit and bring the design vision to life.
Sample Review
After fittings and a thorough review of the garment, I update the measurement specifications and provide detailed fit comments. I also note any issues with construction, sewing workmanship, or overall quality. Clear, actionable feedback is then given to the factory, outlining the next steps and whether the sample is approved for production or requires revisions. My goal is to ensure prototypes meet the highest standards, resolving fit and construction issues before production begins.
Production Support
Once the tech pack is updated with fit comments, photos, and revised sketches, it is sent to the factory for production. I collaborate with the production team or provide direct support as needed, ensuring that every detail is communicated clearly. Throughout manufacturing, I offer ongoing guidance to maintain quality, consistency, and accuracy—so the final garment reflects the original design vision.
